Couple featured in 'The Elephant Whisperers' felicitated by TN CM

Mahout Bomman and his wife Bellie were featured in the Oscar-winning documentary "The Elephant Whisperers," which Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin honoured on Wednesday. Stalin presented each of them with a check for Rs. 1 lakh and a commendation for their commitment to animal care. He also mandated that each of the 91 keepers at the state's elephant camps receive a remuneration of one lakh rupees.
