 The Russian Defense Ministry stated that a US drone that crashed into the Black Sea was caused by "sharp manoeuvring," and denied that its fighter plane made contact with the drone. The statement said, "The Russian jets did not fire any of their onboard armaments, did not collide with the UAV, and made a safe return to their home airfield.
